Dolphin Browser is a giant leap forward for web browsers. Previously on Android, Dolphin Browser has now joined iOS.

When it comes to browsing the internet on mobile devices, the screen size for reading is always the first issue that arises. The next is the expectation of tabbed browsing. Dolphin Browser excels at both. Dolphin Browser intelligently scales the page being viewed to conform to the screen and tabbed browsing is the easiest ever for a mobile browser. The tabs sit at the top of the screen for easy switching.

Dolphin Browser is streamlined so pages load quickly and includes two different views: a mobile theme and one for desktop browsers. Sites that have installed a mobile theme can be switched to the normal desktop browser view. Even sites with large amounts of content quickly loaded the entire page.

The app also includes different gesture controls, along with the ability to create custom gestures. Gesture commands are nice, but have to be accessed through a separate menu rather than used directly on the browser.

Dolphin Browser utilizes the space of the screen very well with bookmarks and settings also being included next to the browser. Bookmarks can be customized, but the app settings cannot be customized as good as its Android counterpart.

Dolphin Browser is one of the best mobile browsers. The simplicity of the app and its strengths in loading and viewing websites is almost perfect.
